My name is Eduarda Sofía Pérez Coral, and I am a biotechnology engineer, graduated from the “Universidad San Francisco de Quito” (USFQ). I am currently pursuing a master's degree in Biomedicine at “Universidad Internacional SEK” (UISEK). My experience includes microbiology, molecular biology and immunology, with a focus on sequencing analysis, antimicrobial resistance, cell culture, and biochemical assays like MTT and ELISA. My current thesis focuses on the genomic assembly of Candida auris to detect antifungal resistance. I also have experience with bioinformatics tools like MEGA, Pathogenwatch, and Candida.app. Additionally, I enjoy reviewing scientific literature on topics such as Herpesviridae, bulk-fill resins, and phage therapy.
